Baby & Children's Products Fair Held at AsiaWorld-Expo
Oriental Daily News, April 20, 2008
Every parent wants what's best for their children. Starting today, a media company will be holding a specialized sourcing fair for baby and children's products at the AsiaWorld-Expo for four consecutive days. The Fair will feature over 130 booths from mainland China and Hong Kong, showcasing a range of products including clothing and footwear; sleepwear and undergarments; fashion accessories; baby bedding; baby and children's safety products; children's furniture and outdoor play equipment.
General Manager for Global Sources Exhibitions, Tommy Wong, quoted statistics showing that in 2006, the world market for baby's products and services had already reached US$25 billion. Hence, this large-scale trade show will be able to satisfy the huge demand of international buyers to source all kinds of baby and children's products in the same venue. He also pointed out that the company organized their first-ever Baby & Children's Products fair last December in Shanghai which attracted over 5,400 buyers to attend. Therefore, they are considering expanding the show to other important sourcing centers. As a sourcing center for Asia, Hong Kong is believed to be able to attract a large number of international buyers to visit, offering buyers and suppliers a platform to meet directly. |
